Staff from semiconductor company, Freescale Semiconductor, were among 20
Malaysians onboard MAS flight MH370 which went missing over
Vietnam-controlled airspace early today. Below is a statement from their
Senior Manager, Corporate “We can confirm that there were members of the Freescale team on the flight. We’re continuing to monitor the situation and will have more information as it becomes available. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those affected by this event and we are doing our best to help them with this tragedy. Counselors and other professionals are available through our Employee Assistance Program with around-the-clock assistance for those who are experiencing difficulty with this incident.”
