Medical experts have said that severe allergic reactions to approved vaccines are extremely rare. At least two people in the UK reported a reaction after taking the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, which has been approved for use in Singapore. But experts said cases of anaphylaxis, a potentially fatal condition, occur in only one in a million doses.
