Johor Bahru Chingay 2017 road closures info
Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Johor Bahru Selatan Supt M. Kumar
berkata penutupan laluan berkenaan bermula dengan tujuh jalan dari pukul
10.30 pagi hingga 1.30 tengah hari pada 15 Februari. Jalan itu meliputi
Jalan Gereja, Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Ulu Air Molek, Jalan Yahya Awal,
Jalan Ayer Molek, Jalan Susur Ibrahim dan Jalan Wong Ah Fook.
Manakala
pada 16 Februari, satu lagi jalan iaitu Jalan Ngee Heng akan ditutup
bermula pukul 8.30 pagi hingga 2.30 petang. Penutupan ini bagi
membolehkan acara ‘membawa tokong keluar’ dari Kuil Kuno di Jalan Trus
ke Kuil Xing Gong di Jalan Ulu Air Molek, dilaksanakan.
“Pada
malam kemuncak perarakan iaitu 17 Februari, jalan-jalan utama yang akan
ditutup ialah persimpangan Jalan Gertak/ Jalan Dato Menteri, Jalan Ayer
Molek, persimpangan lampu isyarat Jalan Sungai Chat/ Jalan Abu Bakar,
Jalan Ayer Molek/Gertak Merah dan persimpangan lampu isyarat Jalan Dato
Onn/ Jalan Ayer Molek.” katanya.
“Selain itu,
penutupan antara pukul 3 petang hingga 3 pagi pada keesokan harinya itu
turut melibatkan Jalan Wong Ah Fook, Jalan Meldrum, Jalan Siu Nam, Jalan
Siu Chin, pusingan ‘U’ Jalan Tun Sri Lanang, Jalan Station, Jalan Abu
Bakar dan susur Lingkaran Dalam/Jalan Abu Bakar,” tambah M.Kumar lagi.
